Our Services-Request an Item From Another Library
If we don't have a book in our collection, there is a chance we can get it from you from another library or institution.
Brantford Public Library members can also join the Six Nations Public Library and County of Brant Public Library and Cambridge's Idea Exchange for free.
Borrow from another Library
If we do not have an item, there are several ways we may be able to find it for you through our:
Interlibrary loans
Brantford Public Library members can borrow items from other libraries through an interlibrary loan service. Materials that can be borrowed from other libraries include books and DVDs. All materials requested through our interlibrary loan service must be more than one-year-old and not currently in our catalogue. We do not guarantee that all requests can be filled. To use this service:
- Contact the Library to place a request, or
- Register to place your own requests by emailing the Library. Once you register with us, you will receive a password to access the online request system, which is known as Info Ontario.
