Lewis, Walter H.
Pte. Walter H. Lewis lost his life almost in the last days of the Second Great War when the Canadians were advancing through Belgium late in March, in 194.5. Pte. Lewis was well known, not only on the Reserve, but in the city, as his brother, Mr. Norman Lewis resides on Elgin Street. He had been educated at the Mohawk Institute. Both of his parents predeceased him.
