Tedley, Frank
Pte. Frank Tedley, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Tedley, Mount Pleasant, enlisted in October, 1942, in the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders. Two and a half years later, on April 8, 1945, he was killed in action in Germany. Born in Northern Ireland in 1922, Frank moved to Simcoe, Ont., with his parents when he was two years old. Later he lived at Mount Pleasant. His education was received in the Simcoe district. At the time of his enlistment he was employed at Waterous Limited. Pte. Tedley's sister, Bessie, also served in the Canadian Army in the C.W.A.C.
