Belcher, Leonard Ralph

F/O Leonard Ralph Belcher was reported missing after a bombing mission over Hanna, Germany, on January 6, 1945, and thus far no news has been received by his family of the fate of his plane or his crew. Married to the former Miss Margaret Crow, who lives with their son at 10 Bedford St., F/O Belcher resided in Brantford from 1942. He was born on April 1, 1914, in Swindon, England, coming to Canada with his parents in 1920 and settling at Bow Island, Alta. Enlisting in the R.C.A.F., he trained as a pilot at Toronto, St. Thomas, Hagersville, Oshawa, and Dunnville. He left for overseas in September, 1943.
