Interconnected Community Panel Series
The Interconnected Community Panel series features three programs about growing communities where we all can blossom. Moderated by Queer Joy Brantford, this series will feature local and local-ish 2SLGBTQIA+ organizers with expertise in curating events, programs, and environments for and by their community.
All events occur from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Main Branch. Registration is not required.
Programs in the series include:
April 10 - Interconnected in Picking up the Slack features a discussion on approaches to creating fun, niche, and intentional social spaces.
May – 15 - Interconnected in Community Care features a discussion on the intersection of 2SLGBTQIA+ leadership in food and environmental access organizing.
June 4 - Interconnected in Shifting the Status Quo features a discussion on trans and non-binary leadership in grassroots community organizing.
This series has been organized in partnership with the Brantford Public Library, City of Brantford, Brantford Pride, and The Bridge Brant.
